Electric Moon


"ELECTRIC MOON came into existence in 2009 - a new project with cosmic traveller Sula Bassana as the driving force. Bassist Komet Lulu, illustrator on top of that and responsible for corporate design and artwork is aboard as well as Pablo Carneval (drums). In 2010 they worked out their debut 'Lunatics', released on German Nasoni label and consisting of long spacey trips in the vein of earlier output with Sula Bassana involved, energetic and hypnotic as is well known, however this time with the focus on a more groovy and acid approach." - Prog Archives

  2. Without sites like this one I wouldn't have spent my hard earned at Sulatron, Nasoni, Thrill Jockey and Bandcamp. Thanks for introducing me to psych jam bands. Everyone seems to compare many of these sounds to Hawkwind, Floyd and Can etc.. Have people today forgotten Pink Fairies, Here & Now, Gong, Planet Gong, Steve Hillage??
    Anyway, I just wanted to say cheers Earthless for a great year of what has been new space rock to me in 2011. Looking forward to checking in to your site in 2012.

  4. Many thanks for introducing me to this band - I love what they are doing. It's great that people are still making music like this, which is as good as (in a lot of cases I may even say better than) what was around in what was regarded as its heyday (1971, man!).
